Ts. Chen Wei Hang (Chen)

Chen is a seasoned engineer with 12+ years of experience across diverse infrastructure projects, including jetties, floating structures, bridges, high-rise condominiums, and government schools. He emphasizes problem-solving in construction.

Chen's academic journey started with a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman. He continued with an MBA at Perdana University.

In his dynamic career, Chen has contributed expertise to prominent organizations like Strukturas (M) Sdn. Bhd., Tiong Seng Contractors Pte. Ltd., Eastern Pretech (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., and Cornerstone 360 Sdn. Bhd., honing his engineering skills.

A standout accomplishment is his leadership in completing Malaysia's first and largest public floating structure, the Floating Ferry Terminal at Tasik Kenyir, Terengganu, drawing specialists from Europe and the Middle East.

In 2019, as Project Manager at Castwell Industries (M) Sdn. Bhd., Chen led the technology transfer of floating concrete pontoon skills from Sweden, establishing the foundation for the company's floating/marine structure division.

Notably, he earned recognition as "Best Project Manager" from Samsung Engineering Co., Ltd. for contributions to the Petronas RAPID Pengerang project in 2019.

Chen advocates for the benefits of floating architecture in sustainable design, addressing rising sea levels, land scarcity, innovative tourism, reduced ecological impact, coastal city center expansion, and green planning.

Throughout his illustrious career, Chen excels in leadership, team management, on-time and on-budget project delivery, and extends his expertise to business development, new construction technologies, and cost feasibility studies for new projects.
